CDR is a nationally registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission and a multi-faceted firm that provides (1) Swap Advisory and Monitoring Services, (2) Municipal Reinvestment Services, (3) Debt Portfolio Enhancement Services and (4) Structured Solutions. In total, the firm has served as advisor on more than $60 billion in various agreements.
First and foremost, CDR is a full-service, independent derivative advisory firm that is not affiliated with an investment bank or swap counterparty. CDR has been providing these services for municipal issuers, universities, corporations, not-for-profit organizations, real estate entities, and other financial institutions since the firm’s inception. Since 2000 alone, CDR has served as derivative advisor on more than 500 transactions representing a total notional amount of over $30 billion.
In addition to CDR’s full range of swap advisory services, we have used our expertise in the debt markets to advise higher education and not-for-profit clients who have been severely affected by adverse market changes as a result of the recent liquidity and credit crises. Furthermore, CDR has been providing investment advisory services to our municipal clients for over two decades. Since 2000, CDR has served as bidding agent/investment consultant on over 1,000 transactions totaling over $25 billion. Finally, the firm has actively structured and sold an array of money market instruments to a wide cross-section of short-term investors.
CDR professionals have diverse financial backgrounds and combined derivative experience exceeding 50 years. Firm employees work closely in a team-oriented approach with management retaining many of the day-to-day activities. CDR currently maintains offices in California and Pennsylvania with a total of ten (10) employees plus one principal.
